New Hampshire is charming state on the east coast of America, dotted with quaint, white, clapper board churches and steeped in history. Mountains and valleys dominate the landscape with the Connecticut River forming the border to Vermont on the west of the state. The state capitol in Concord rises up and almost knocks two, super-cute, lumberjacks off their feet as they saw timber from the vast forests that cover the land in New Hampshire. 

Not surprisingly, wildlife feature strongly in my vision of New Hampshire and the state symbols of the brook trout, white tailed deer, purple finch, purple lilac flower, karner blue butterfly and chinook dog all make an appearance. The colour purple is significant to the identify of New Hampshire and therefore is the dominant colour in my eponymous art print of this beautiful and unique region of America.
