I recently collaborated with Neil Varsity Line to create a cute giftware collection to raise funds for and awareness of Family Equality, a national non-profit in the USA. We worked closely together to create a fun, colourful design, filled with love, dignity and joy.
I absolutely loved creating a design that celebrates diversity within relationships and the right to be who you are. The message that the design communicates is an important statement of acceptance and I love the slogan: Y'all Means All, which is exactly what my illustration is about.
The product range was launched by Neil Varsity Line at the MSA Forward trade show in Denver last month and I got to sport a tote and bucket hat, which I absolutely loved :-)
Back home, my British licensee Parkwood Springs asked if we could create a design to celebrate diversity as part of a local fund-raising initiative for the Master Cutler's Challenge, headed up by their partner business BIDBI, (the eco-manufacturing company I founded many years ago, which is now run by my former management team). Last week I went up to Wentworth Woodhouse in South Yorkshire to sign art prints featuring my new illustration. It was lovely to see tote bags, tea towels and ceramic mugs printed with my colourful and joyful illustration.
