Ukraine Postcard

It is inconceivable for me to continue to discover and draw places around the world without being affected by the invasion of Ukraine and catastrophic consequences of Russia's act of aggression against one of its neighbours. In association with the charity: Ukrainian Events in London, I have created a celebration of Ukraine and its unique, cultural heritage, drawn in patriotic blue and yellow. The iconic Monument of Independence in Kyiv is a symbol of Ukraine's fight for freedom and sunflowers, the country's national flower, dot the landscape. A bird calls for freedom whilst a tractor pulls a tank, referencing powerful street art of by its people, which recognises that this in the Ukraine, this is everyone's fight. Proceeds from the sale of my Ukraine postcard will go to Ukrainian Events in London and as such, support Ukrainian refugees around the world. Dyakuyu.
