Southampton Tote Bag

I’ve been driving past Southampton for the last 8 months as I journey between my home in Exmouth and Eastbourne, where I am due to move shortly. Southampton is half way. I get so close to this wonderful, seafaring city, but have yet to visit, which is something I am keen to change. As one of England’s old, walled, towns, Southampton is rich in medieval architectural history as well as magnificent Tudor buildings such as Westgate Hall and Tudor House. Home to the Royal Navy and the launch pad of cruise liners, Southampton’s maritime heritage runs through its streets and architecture, old and new with some magnificent memorials paying homage to its prominent place in Britain’s nautical history.
