Seattle Tote Bag

My vision of Seattle is very much informed by being a tourist in the city, when I landed there a few years ago, as part of my tour of the Pacific Northwest. Jet lagged and disorientated, the city’s abundant supply of coffee, helped me to focus and discover an amazing array of architectural highlights, including the futuristic looking Spheres and ambitious skyscrapers, which contrasted sharply with the quaint historic buildings such as at Pioneer Square and Occidental Square. Seattle is surrounded by water and forested mountains, perfect for the great outdoors, and which feature in my artwork of the city. I walked up Capitol Hill and fell in love with the rainbow crossing and paid homage to local musical legend Jimi Hendrix and then over to Queene Anne to get the best view of the city, which is dominated by the iconic Space Needle, shining its light over a very, special place in my heart, that is Seattle.
