Scarborough Postcard

Having spent most of my life in Yorkshire, Scarborough is a place close to my heart and of which I have fond memories. I've paddled on the boating lake at Peasholm Park but I have yet to dance on the iconic black and white chequered tiled floor of the Scarborough Spa. Many of the features in my design of Scarborough celebrate the town as an entertainment and leisure centre. Whether you want to ride the waves in South Bay, watch a performance in the Open Air Theatre or see the Speedway at Oliver's Mount then Scarborough can keep you entertained for days on end! The real stars of this design however are the feathered friends that flutter about the design, whether it's a cheeky seagull on the right or a perky puffin on the left, they insist on making their mark on my illustration of Scarborough. And let's not forget the sweet little seals bobbing about in the sea and doing a great job of welcoming people to their home town of Scarborough.
