It is heavily wooded and sparsely inhabited, which has made it a popular place for recreational activities such as mountain biking and water sports. The Skiliftkarussell is a major winter sport resort, and its 30,000 miles of hiking trails make this a perfect postcard destination. Seems like my kind of place! See you soon Sauerland!
