I love drawing the grandeur and grace of a Canada's capital city however Ottawa is decidedly understated compared to its European and American counterparts, which I guess is the Canadian way... gentle but present. I have therefore included the Changing of the Guards in front of Parliament Hill as I felt I needed to big up Ottawa's position as the capital city of one of the world's biggest countries. I love how the river and canal wind their way through the city and in doing so bring nature into its heart.
