Oregon Tote Bag

When I drew my Oregon State Scape I was so inspired by the breathtaking landscape and super cool, coffee fuelled cities that I booked my flight to visit the Pacific North West pretty much before the ink had dried! One of my stockists is in Portland (the iconic Powells Books) so another good reason to visit. I love that Portland's motto is to "Keep Portland Weird" and I admire the broad minded and free spirited thinkers of this wonderful city. Home to coffee culture, I chilled out in some of their many establishments as I took my rest from discovering the local scenery and architecture. 

Sadly I didn't get to see the unforgiving Hell's Canyon, which ended the dreams of many early pioneers as they made the journey from east to west coast. Neither did I see the multi coloured Painted Hills or deep, aqua blue Crater Lake. Oregon will no doubt call me back into its wild and beautiful landscape, together with many more globe trotters from all corners of the world in search of mountains, forests, lakes... and coffee.
