Oakland Tote Bag

A big, old oak tree, circled by falling leaves is the centre piece to my design of Oakland, California. I've created the design in the city's iconic colours of green and gold, which contrast perfectly with a bright blue for the Bay. I adore the Arts & Crafts bungalows in Oakland and the faded glamour of the Art Decor buildings in Up Town, particularly the old theatre buildings such as the Fox and Paramount, which I've included in my illustration of Oakland. My design also contains lots of symbols that represent California, such as the Quail bird, Californian Poppy, Golden Trout, Bear and Redwood Tree.
