Nurnberg Postcard

JG064630

Nurnberg is a medieval Germany city in northern Bavaria. Pretty red tiled buildings form the old town and include many wonderful examples of German Gothic architecture including the Kaiserburg, Sebaldskirche, Lorenzkirche and the quaint Henkersteg bridge that spans the river. Nurnberg is also home to the Renaissance genius of Albrecht Durer and himself and his home is featured in the top left of my illustration. He's the one in the funny hat. As in most German cities, a traditional Christmas market takes place in the market square and we can see one in full swing in my illustration of Nurnberg. The Lebkuchen look delicious!

Julia's vision of Nurnberg makes a cute and collectable postcard and is also available as a beautiful Art Print for your home.
