Morocco Tote Bag

I was told that Morocco is a cold country with a hot sun and having spent 2 weeks hiking the Atlas Mountains followed by a yoga retreat near Essaouria then, I have to agree. Freezing cold nights camping on rocky, mountain plateaus, chilled to the bone with early morning roof top yoga, and hiking under a sizzling sun during the day proved this point well! My colourful illustration of Morocco is based partly on my experience of spending time here as well as my love for the Moroccan aesthetic, where Islam meets Africa. I loved seeing the Moorish mosaic tiles, biscuit-coloured forts and walled cities, as well as the dazzling blue and white medinas. Wholesome food, dates and nuts washed down with mint tea sustained me during a wonderful time in Morocco. I will be back!
