Lago Maggiore Tote Bag

Lake Maggiore is situated amongst the mountains of Northern Italy and like a well in a desert, everything comes to life around its shore.  I loved drawing the distinctive, red tiled roofs on the quaint little houses and churches that huddle together as villages and small towns around the lake's shoreline. I also love to include some of the local wildlife in my designs including those that have become pets such as the albino peacocks in Isola Bella. People have fun on the lakes and up and down the mountains of Lake Maggiore and admire the view from the top of Monte Ferro Laveno, no doubt sipping a glass of the local vino.
