Kyoto is Japan’s most historic city, where tourists from around the world flock every year, to see the beautiful, ancient temples that are in abundance here. My illustration of Kyoto features some of the most important sacred sites as well as the magical mountain of Daimonji that overlooks the city and the ancient streets of Gion, where upon walk the Geisha girls in traditional dress.  If heritage sites are not for you then you can always have a splash on raft along the Katsura River or enjoy a cup of the favourite local brew … Matcha Tea!
