Watching England’s national women’s football team play in and win the European Cup last year, inspired me and ignited an interest in the game that I hadn’t experienced before. I was enthralled by their skill, passion and amazing team work, which led them to victory and inspired a nation of women to challenge self-limiting beliefs. Anything is possible. It has motivated me to create an illustration of the Lionesses, featuring the squad for the World Cup 2023 competition, cheered on by their manager, Sarina Wiegman. Go Lionesses Go! Can you hear them roar? I can. :-)
