Delightful Dundee is a Unesco City of Design. As such it's a destination for culture vultures like me and I'm itching to take the high road to Dundee. The V&A archive, housed in the stunning, modernist Caird Hall is a major attraction in this beautiful Scottish city. My fascination with bridges was fulfilled in drawing Dundee, as I had a double delight in the two bridges that cross the River Tay.
Dundee is famous for its eponymous cake, of which I am a big fan. :-) It's also known for jute and was a major supplier of jute to upholsterers and homeware brands throughout Europe, working closely with partners in India.
