Cheshire Tote Bag

Cheshire is a county in the north of England, which has gravitas.  Home to millionaire footballers, my illustration of Cheshire features the “Golden Triangle” but also, the terraced streets of nearby mill towns. Its industrial heritage defines the landscape, whether it’s the huge scale chemical plants in the northwest, where I have memories of holding my breath as I drove past over the Mersey, or the monumental silk mills of Macclesfield. Favourite is  the Tudor buildings of Chester and beyond. I love the black and white timber framed structures, which take us to centuries past. Cheshire is also famous for its eponymous cheese, which I love and no self respecting chessboard is complete without. Ciao Cheshire!
