Beautiful Buxton! Famous for its fresh water and associated health benefits (now available in bottles), Buxton is a beautiful spa town, complete with gorgeous Georgian architecture to rival its southern cousin, Bath. 

The Buxton Crescent is the hero of my illustration of Bath, arching over the town, through which a carnival processes towards St Ann's Well. The Opera House is known around the world for hosting some amazing musical events and the Buxton Music Festival is the highlight of the summer. Buskers take to the streets and walkers set off to the nearby Peak District. As Buxton is also the highest town in England, it is the starting point of many a hike and a wonderful place to visit, whatever the weather.
