I have drawn lots of birds in the hundreds of illustrations that I have created of places in America, many of them being the state symbol, whether it’s the vibrant, red, Northern Cardinal of Illinois, Ohio, North Carolina and more, or the clever and tuneful Northern Mockingbird of Florida, Mississippi and other states. My illustration of Birds of America captures much of the birdlife of this vast country including the nation’s favourite: the Bald Eagle.
