My Cityscape of Bangkok features some of the iconic temples that dominate the skyline of this magical city. Shining with gold and resplendent in red, this iconic Asian city oozes optimism and opulence through its superb, spiritual, architectural heritage.
I've never visited Bangkok but would love to wander down Khao San Road, snacking on street food as I make my way to the colourful market of Chatuchak. I love the row of peaceful buddhas at What Pho as well as the many spires of Wat Ratchanadaram, that reach up into the heavens above. The fabulous floating market is a hive of activity and in my illustration of Bangkok, a trader holds up a bunch of coriander to attract shoppers to his boat filled with amazing Thai food. Beautiful Bangkok... in buildings and soul.
