It's December and almost the end of a uniquely challenging year for all. Like many, I've experienced loneliness in the midst of lockdowns and uncertainty in a complex world where human connections happen over the internet and loved ones are seem far away, even if they're just down the road.
It has been a year of opportunity however and I've grasped many with an open heart and mind. Having been running businesses for thirty years, for the first time, I took a real break from the day to day and spent time in nature. With just a 20 minute walk to the sea, it wasn't difficult and I spent many an afternoon on the South West Coast Path and swimming in the ocean ... and I'm still doing it in December!
I've learnt to bake bread (gluten-free), raise chickens (I have three) and my IT knowledge has expanded into the stratosphere as I've got to grips with new technology and had to problem solve on my own.
Ironically, my online shop and Etsy store have boomed and I've added many new artworks at the request of my lovely fan base. Here's a few that I've done over the last month ... Coventry, Sunderland and Hull! Ooh ... and Firenze!
And as it's Christmas ... I have a lovely little gift for all customers who spend over £20 in my shop (excluding delivery) ... a cute, little, cork-backed coaster printed with my iconic London artwork. Just order anything that you want, spend over £20 and the coaster is yours for free!
PS Last order for Christmas Delivery ...
