Goodbye 2025, Hello 2026

I hope that 2025 has been kind to you and you have been able to fulfil some of your dreams. Staying at my new home town of Dartmouth, exploring the local environs and enjoying life in this beautiful coastal town was a big part of my year.

This was extended more than expected due to breaking my left (thankfully not drawing hand) wrist. Home bound, I hunkered down with my animals and strapped myself to my drawing to work through hundreds of design commissions that poured in from New Zealand to Nagoya to Nebraska.

I did manage to get in lots of travel including a hiking trip in the Azores.  A massive plus from the trip is that I have picked up a licensee there so my artwork will be printed onto beautiful ceramic products and sold throughout this beautiful archipelago.

A yoga retreat in Spain and Sicily and lots of walking days spent on the South West Coast Path brought happiness and peace into my life. Sea swimming, walking and yoga are my holy trinity, which keep me both sane and supple :-)

A business trip to America, which included a live art event at one of my top customers, Harvard Coop Bookstore, was also memorable and it was great to see my artwork printed onto so many products and becoming best selling ranges in over five hundred colleges and universities across North America.

I start the new year with optimism and a determination to enjoy a good work / life balance. A hike and yoga retreat in Morocco is planned for the Spring and who know what adventures lie beyond that. Until then, it's creating designs each day for retail customers around the world as the Julia Gash brand continues to grow. Thank you all for your support for my creative work :-)
