Our collaboration with Julia Gash

This is Parkwood Springs first major collaboration. Daya Singh, Managing Director, hopes this partnership will serve as the starting point for future collaborations with a curated portfolio of emerging artists and designers.

“We are truly delighted to have such an exceptional and acclaimed artist such as Julia Gash on board as our first official licensor, correct terminology in this context is licensed brand not licensor.  Julia Gash is a pioneer in this industry and is well-known for her unique and iconic map-themed illustrations. We are honoured to be producing as well as distributing her distinctive artwork on to ethically sourced products worldwide.”

The two companies will be working side by side to produce high quality, ethically sourced, gifts printed with Julia Gash iconic artwork for the global retail market.

Julia Gash says: “I am delighted to be bringing my brand back to Sheffield, where I first set out to draw travel themed art in 2012.  Almost a decade on, it’s grown into an international brand, selling across over 20 countries and it’s great to see that Sheffield will again be at the heart of this commercial success”.

Our mutual goal

Ethical production and print quality is at the heart of everything we do, which was the blueprint that Julia herself established for Parkwood Spring’s print partner, BIDBI in 2007, which has continued to guide the business since Julia sold the enterprise under an MBO in 2017.  At Parkwood Springs, we share Julia’s vision to provide environmentally friendly giftware products that have been sourced specifically for their sustainability credentials.
