My customisable Cityscape collection has been travelling around the world over the last month: London, Paris, Milan, Las Vegas, Toronto and hello New York this very weekend!
For the last 11 years I have been showcasing my brand at international trade fairs, meeting buyers from every corner of the globe and selling my map themed art, initially printed onto natural, canvas tote bags, with my iconic, patriotic red and white and blue stripe handles.
My art was an instant success with retail buyers in the UK, Japan, America and Canada ... Europe followed swiftly and then Australia and New Zealand.
The collection grew to include mugs, coasters, tea towels, fridge magnets, accessory pouches and many more gift and homeware items, which quickly became best sellers in retail stores throughout the world.
Buyers from department stores, museum gift shops, tourist attractions, resorts and university stores from across the globe, bought into the collection. I have collaborated with retailers on over a thousand exclusive ranges, which I continue to add to day by day.
Here's my first big partnership: Lifestyle Market showcasing my brand at Gift & Home Toronto, Canada
And my British licensee: Parkwood Springs setting out my store, here in Homi Milano.
Not forgetting my collegiate partner: Neil Enterprises representing my brand at Tailgate Show in Las Vegas.
There are too many favourites to mention but something I have always loved is turning up at a trade show to set up my booth with a colleague or two in tow. This winter is the first time in 15 years that have not worked on a booth representing my brand at a trade show. I miss it and hope to be back soon, once I have got on top of the mountain of commissions that meet me but which I love to climb daily. I will soon be off to Bradford, Goa and the Isle of Wight ... all from the comfort of my drawing board :-)
