Around the world, young people travel across counties and countries in pursuit of a higher education. Whether it's biology or business, English or economics, universities and college across the globe open their doors to those that want to open their minds to their chosen area of study.  I have had the privilege to be able to collaborate with a manufacturer in the USA that is dedicated to creating wonderful product ranges. Together we have collaborated in making amazing product that celebrates the unique campus culture and iconic landmarks of a specific institution. Over the last three years we have created over 300 designs and ranges, which have become best seller ranges for gift shops and book stores in the collegiate sector.  Here are some of my favourites ....

 

This black and yellow Cal State Long Beach design is filled with Californian sunshine.  I love mixing up local flora and fauna with collegiate sport icons and landmark buildings. Go Beach!

My design for Cornell University was one of my first and is one of the biggest selling ranges across America.  The success of the collection prompted a second design, celebrating the local community of Ithaca in upstate New York.  Favourite is the ice hockey player and Mr Cornell himself.

Stay warm with this wonderful, woven throw and steaming hot drink in a ceramic mug printed with my Middle Tennessee State University artwork. My linear artwork really lends itself to the weave technique used in the blanket making and I love curling up under mine when autumn comes rolling in.

One of my favourite colourways to work with is orange and blue. I just love the joy and confidence of this colour combo, which reflects the positivity of Auburn University.  I discover so much about the university's sporting icons and culture when I create artworks and the high stepping marching band master has me in stitches. I love the contrast between him and the flowering lily pad below, both of which help to create the unique character that is Auburn University.
